To the Church at Ephesus - Ref: Revelation 2:1-11. This church 'had left its first love'. He does not suggest that praying to Mary would help in its restoration.

To the Church at Smyrna - Ref: Revelation 2:8-11.This particular church was passing through a time of deep tribulation. He makes no reference to intercession and comfort by Mary.

To the Church at Pergamum - Ref: Revelation 2:12-17. He rebukes the church because they held the doctrine of Balaam who caused idolatry and fornication in Israel. However, he does not suggest that greater devotion to Mary would help in this situation.

To the Church at Thyatira - Ref: Revelation 2:18-29
He rebukes the Church because they suffer a woman named Jezebel who called herself a prophetess to teach. Would this not have been a golden opportunity to extol the virtues of Mary? He never did.

To the Church at Sardis - Ref: Revelation 3:1-6. This church had a name to live and was dead. It had reputation but no reality. He does not say that greater devotion to Mary would help to revive its lifeless state. Nor does he commend the 'few which had not defiled their garments' for their veneration of Mary.

To the Church at Philadelphia - Ref: Revelation 3:7-13. There is no word of condemnation by Christ to this church. He commends its fidelity yet says nothing about Mary having played any part in it.

To the Church at Laodicea - Ref: Revelation 3:14-22.This church was in such a poor spiritual state that incredibly Christ is outside of it. He gives it wise counsel and makes a gracious personal appeal. He says, 'if anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with me.' Yet, consistent will all his other messages to the churches, he says nothing whatsoever about his mother.
