  • TOUCHED BY OTHERS - Healing brought to those who touched Christ

Mt 9:20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
Mt 9:21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
Mt 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
Mt 14:34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
Mt 14:35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;
Mt 14:36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

  • TREE - A Tree, illustrative of Christ

Ro 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Re 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Re 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

  • TRANSFIGURED - The Transfiguration of Christ

Mt 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
Mr 9:2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
Lu 9:29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

  • TRIED - Christ Tried by His enemies

Mr 10:2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.
Lu 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
Lu 11:16 And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.
Lu 20:23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?
Joh 8:6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

  • TRUTH - Christ, the Truth

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Joh 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

  • UNION - Union with Christ

Ro 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
1Co 6:15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
2Co 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

  • UNKNOWN - Christ was Unknown by men

  • VINE - Christ, the True Vine

Joh 3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

  • WORKS - The mighty Works of Christ

Mt 11:2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
Mt 11:20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:
Mt 13:54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
Mr 6:2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
Mr 6:14 And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

Mt 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
Mt 14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
Mt 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
Lu 24:52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
Heb 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
Re 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

  • ZEAL - The Zeal of Christ

HE FELT THE IMPERATIVE CALL OF DUTY

He must be about his Father's Business
Lu 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?

He must Preach
Lu 4:43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

He must Accomplish his Work
Lu 12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

He must Work while the Day Lasted
Joh 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

He must go to Jerusalem to suffer
Mt 16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
