  • RETIREMENT - Retirement sought by Christ from worldly associations

  • REVILED - Christ was Reviled

  • RIGHTEOUSNESS - The Righteousness of Christ

Ps 45:7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Isa 11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

  • ROCK - Christ, the Rock

1Co 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

  • ROCK OF OFFENCE - Christ, the Rock of Offence

Isa 8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Mt 11:6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

  • SACRIFICE - Christ offered Himself as a Sacrifice

  • SALVATION - Salvation through Christ

The only door
Joh 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

The only Saviour
Ac 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

His grace sufficient
Ac 15:11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

His blood avails
